Rehabilitation Therapy

“Strength is happiness. Strength is itself victory. In weakness and cowardice there is no happiness. When you wage a struggle, you might win or you might lose. But regardless of the short-term outcome, the very fact of your continuing to struggle is proof of your victory as a human being.”

- Daisaku Ikeda

What is rehabilitation therapy?

Physiotherapy and sports massage in Liverpool StreetThe rehabilitation therapist is at the core of the Victory team. You are likely to see your rehabilitation therapist throughout your Victory journey as it is their job to prescribe specific exercise programmes at each stage of your progress, from injury to peak performance. For example, if you have sprained a ligament in your ankle, it is the physio’s job to help restore normal movement, but the rehabilitation therapist’s job to give you exercises that will restore strength, flexibility and functional balance so that you can use that normal movement and return to high performance.

Why should I use Victory?

Victory’s rehabilitation therapists are a vital part of the Victory team. We can treat you on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting (our maximum group size is 6 clients per therapist). A big part of the rehabilitation therapist’s job is to help you stay motivated and focused on success. Any military patient who has been through a rehabilitation course will tell you that it is largely the influence of the Exercise and Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) that makes the experience so worthwhile, and at Victory we heartily agree.

Who are Victory’s rehabilitation therapists?

Victory's rehabilitation therapists have studied for higher degrees in Sport Rehabilitation, and are extremely familiar with the interdisciplinary way of working that underpins Victory. We are therefore uniquely qualified among exercise and rehabilitation professionals to be a part of Victory’s clinical team.
