---- Join our team

Would you like to join a world-class team of therapists, trainers and clinicians, working with a range of lovely clients?

Do you have high standards and values, and an infectiously positive outlook?

Are you a therapist with MSc-level qualifications, keen to make a big difference to clients’ health and performance, and to work with the underlying cause of the problem, rather than just treating the symptoms?

Do you (ideally) have experience working with military personnel or high-level sportspeople?

Are you looking to upgrade?

Are you frustrated with where you’re working now? Do you feel that you want to grow your clinical skill set further, but that you don’t have the time or the support to help you? Do you sometimes feel as though you’re having to rush through your treatment sessions, and that you aren’t able to support your patients as fully as you’d like? Do you have dreams of offering a really grown-up, joined-up service as part of a strong multidisciplinary team? If so, we may be what you’re looking for.

Our patients come first

At Victory, our patients are at the heart of everything we do. But to give our patients the best possible experience of physiotherapy, we need highly trained staff with full support, equipment and the space to work professionally.

Really listening to patients is vital – in part because we need to be able to work out why they are in pain and how best to help them achieve their goals, but also because being properly listened to is a huge factor in calming the patients’ nervous system and optimising their outcomes. But it’s hard to be at the top of your game, if you’re stressed out yourself. So we believe in supporting our staff, providing weekly CPD and encouraging a good work-life balance.

In return we expect our therapists to work hard, to take pride in helping our patients to get better the fastest way possible, and to show dedication to the clinic and the team.

A bit about the clinic

Victory Health & Performance is a high-end multidisciplinary clinic in central London. We are dedicated to helping people get free of their injuries for good, through customised physiotherapy and rehab programmes. All our patients start with an initial 90-minute assessment to find not just the source of the pain but the underlying cause, followed by a package of physiotherapy and/or rehab to get them out of pain and moving well, so that the movement changes become ingrained and thus a long-term solution obtained. Many of our patients then continue to come to Victory for our semi-private yoga and movement sessions; almost all of them become our close friends.

We pride ourselves on providing a really excellent, grown-up service to our patients. That means that not only do we look after our patients as well as we can in clinic, and via email between sessions; but when we refer them to a consultant, we try to go with them into clinic and theatre.

We have a unique health assessment protocol which we will teach you; and we also hold weekly CPD sessions, plus monthly clinical meetings and 1:1 development sessions, and quarterly team development sessions.

The majority of our patients are referred to us by consultants and other healthcare professionals, so we also take time to network with and get to know the best of our local colleagues.

Vital skills and attributes

Physiotherapy qualifications: You should have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy. All our existing clinical staff have postgraduate degrees. Our clients are high-end and intelligent, and we spend a lot of time and effort communicating with them (in both written and spoken form) and discussing health research. You will also need at least 8 years’ experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and be confident with complex cases, as many of our patients will have seen multiple other therapists before they find us.

Good hands: we do a lot of manual therapy, so your hands-on skills need to be on point.

Solid clinical reasoning: we take a lot of time to listen, hypothesise, test and explain our theories to our clients. People are more likely to do their exercise “homework” if they understand why they are doing it.

Good communication: you will be talking with and listening to my clients, who are VERY important to me. You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone and know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear explanations and instructions to the clients. I’ll teach you everything you need to do during a treatment session, but I can’t teach you manners and professionalism.

People skills and personality: you must LOVE working with people! Getting mended can be a really interesting and exciting process, and you must be able to show your clients energy and excitement while working with them.

Networking skills: we network with our consultants and allied healthcare colleagues regularly, partly because it reminds them of our existence and it’s how we get most of our referrals; but also because – should our patients need anything we don’t offer, whether that’s a hip replacement, an MRI or a reformer Pilates instructor – we want them to trust us to know the best options for them.

Bonus qualifications

Not vital, but your CV will go to the top of the pile if you have these!

Training in the Integrated Systems Model or ConnectTherapy system developed by Diane Lee and LJ Lee – these models underpin the way we work at Victory, so prior understanding is a bonus. If you have not studied one of these models, you do need to be open to doing so soon.

Training in mat-based Pilates – we currently have no trained Pilates teacher, and it’s something we’ve found useful.

Terms & Conditions

The role would initially be part-time, but potentially increasing to as close to full time as you wish, depending on your ability to build your caseload with our help.

Salary is commission based, so the more patients you help, the more you’ll take home.

You must be registered with the CSP and the HCPC.

Please send your CV including references, and a covering letter explaining why you are the perfect candidate, to We look forward to hearing from you.
